How Do I Start an Instant Game on My Site?

    • Instant Games are just one of the long list of epic features you get access to by being partnered with Team Zap. (You’re welcome 😎).

    But, what actually are these ‘Instant Games’?

    ⚡️Instant Games are a type of Instant Win, but they look a bit different. Their purpose is to add a gaming element to your usual Instant Win. 

    With a traditional Instant Win, your player gets an email, letting them know if they’ve won or not. That’s not the case with Instant Games. With Instant Games, they find out in a more fun way — like by scratching a card, or flipping a coin! 

    It’s a game within a game, if you will. 

    ⚡️What Kind of Instant Games Are There?

    There are currently three types of Instant Games:

    • Instant Scratch — this works and looks like a scratch card

    • Instant Flip — which is essentially a coin flip

    • Pumpkin Smasher — this is the same as Instant Flip, but with a pumpkin (great one for Halloween, or if your players really love pumpkins!)

    ⚡️How Do I Set Up Instant Games?

    To set up an Instant Game, you’ll first have to set up an Instant Win. 

    Head to your site's back-end and navigate to the left-hand sidebar.  

    Then:  

    1. Go to ‘Products’

    2. Choose your Product (that is, your competition)

    3. Change Product Data to 'Competition' if needed, though it should be set to this by default

    4. In the Product Data box, on the left, click 'Instant Wins'

    5. Edit your Instant Win Prize

    6. Click 'Add Prize' (but only do this after you've finished editing!)

    You’ll notice that a ticket number has been generated for the Instant Win Prize. You’ll also find a little box named ‘Game Type’ just underneath this.

    Click on the down arrow next to ‘Default,’ and you’ll see your Instant Game choices (i.e. Instant Scratch, Instant Flip, or Pumpkin Smasher). Choose whichever you like — it’s up to you! Your players are about to have guaranteed fun either way, we can promise you that.

    ⚡️Instant Games = Instant Fun! 

    You can’t disagree with the science behind it. What you can do, though, is get on Instant Games now if you haven’t already. You’ve got nothing to lose, but loads to gain.
