How to Add a Mailing List Sign-Up Form to Your Site on Klaviyo
There are plenty of benefits for you when players sign up for your mailing list. For one, it makes communicating about your upcoming comps and announcing your winners so much easier. It also helps with keeping your players engaged.
But sometimes, mailing lists need to be made a bit more visible on the website. You know, to really catch your players’ (new and existing) attention.
⚡️How to Add a Mailing List Sign-Up Form to Your Site:
Head to the back-end of your site and navigate to the left-hand side of your dashboard
Find ‘Zap Settings’ and click ‘Email Sign Up’
Here, you’ll find options for both CustomerIO (our SMS marketing provider) and Klaviyo (our email marketing provider). There are a few fields you’ll have to fill out with account details for either provider.
You can choose from a few options about where and how you’d like your form to appear (e.g. popup or in the sidebar), and when you’d like for it to appear (e.g. on page load). Do it where — and when — you think it’ll catch the most attention, and secure new sign-ups!
Play around with it a little bit. Do you think it’ll work best when users are scrolling down your page? Select it to appear ‘after scrolling’. Believe that popups are the most attention-grabbing? Choose for your form to ‘popup’ at them.
It’s up to you. Be creative!
