How to Set Up Auto Draw

Want to focus on running your business while the prizes draw themselves? Are you on holiday but still want to run competitions? Say no more! Our auto draw feature has your back.

Auto draw is a handy tool. It saves you time and effort, automatically selecting a winner for your competition. Now you can enjoy your holiday and your players can still play! Everybody wins.

The feature is also practical for smaller competitions, which don’t need such a big show around the draw. It’s more relaxed, but still exciting nonetheless.

To enable auto draw, you first have to come up with a skill question, like you normally would. Next, you:

⚡1. Tick ‘Enable Auto Draw’

Once your question is ready, tick ‘Enable Auto Draw’ at the bottom, beneath your answers.

Now, before we continue, scroll up and update your changes. This is to be safe, but it’ll unlock the next step to take, as well.

⚡2. Select the Correct Answer

Scroll down, click on ‘Question’ again
You’ll notice a new box has popped up beneath the ‘Enable Auto Draw’ button: ‘Correct Answer.’

Remember to ONLY select the correct answer if it’s an auto draw you’re hosting. If you’re doing a live draw, you don’t need to enable auto draw or select the correct answer. You have to select a correct answer, otherwise your auto draw won’t take place.

Don’t forget to hit that ‘Update’ button now, to save all your changes. Just as an FYI, we recommend that your draw date/time is at least 15 minutes after your competition’s close date/time. This is to give the system some time to process any last minute ticket purchases, and to process what it’s doing (a.k.a. the auto draw).
