How to Add an Abandoned Cart Popup

Abdonded Cart.mp4

If your customers are on your website, and they’ve been idle, dwelling, or inactive, you can enable an Abandoned Cart Popup in the ‘Select a Product’ drop-down menu.

To set it up:

  1. In the left-hand sidebar, click on ‘Competitions’

  2. Navigate to ‘Popup Settings’

  3. Scroll down, until you find ‘Abandoned Cart Popup’, this is where you can create it

  4. Same as before, add media and text*

  5. Change the ‘Button Text’ to ‘Yes, I’m Still Here’ if you’d like — it has more personality than just an ‘Ok’

  6. Choose when to show your popup (in ‘Show Popup On’), either on Customer Dwell or Inactivity

*You can add an image that says: ‘Are you still there?’ and allow users to select either ‘Yes, I’m still here,’ or just let them continue to be idle.

⚡How Do I Change My Abandoned Cart Message?

Just like with a Global Popup:

  1. In the left-hand sidebar, click on ‘Competitions’

  2. Navigate to ‘Popup Settings’

  3. Scroll down to Abandoned Cart Popup, specifically ‘Popup Body’

  4. Once there, select an image and add a little bit of text. Add an image and text that says, ‘Are You Still Here?’

⚡How Do I Set My Abandoned Cart Countdown?

In your Popup Settings, at the very bottom of ‘Abandoned Cart Popup,’ you’ll see ‘Abandoned Cart Timeout.’ Here, you can choose what time—that is, after how many seconds—you’d like for the popup to appear.

⚡Carts = Recovered

Thank God for these popups, right? It's a small nudge they're giving, but even that can be enough to convince a customer to close their sale. If, on the other hand, your abandoned cart rate is still high, contact us. We'll help you sort it out.
