How to Add Bulk Discounts

We've covered how to add discounts and BOGO. But what about Bulk Buy Discounts? Glad you asked.

1. On WordPress, navigate to ‘Zap Cashier Settings’

2.From there, head over to ‘Bulk Discounts’

3. Toggle on ‘Enable Bulk Discounts’. 

4. Then choose if you want to show these buttons on the front end of your site. If you do, just click ‘Show Bulk Discounts’

5.Now that you’ve enabled Bulk Discounts, it should appear in your side dashboard:

6. Hover over it and click’ Add Discount’. You can then give it a title.
For this example, we’ll do ‘Grab a Grand’

7. Click ‘Add Row’. Specify the minimum and maximum number of tickets.

The minimum is the lowest number of tickets the customer can buy in order to be entitled to a discount, and the maximum is the highest number, before they graduate to a bigger discount.

There must be a minimum and a maximum number of tickets specified for each row, otherwise it won’t work! 

8. Then add the percentage discount—how much money they get off the ticket price if they buy between the minimum and maximum amounts of tickets

9. You’ve now created the rules. Time to add them to a competition.

Go to ‘Products’ in the grey left sidebar of the screen 

10. Select the competition you want to apply ‘Bulk Discounts’ to

11. Go to ‘Tickets’, under ‘Product Data’:

12.Look for the ‘Bulk Discount Model’ heading:

13. At the drop-down menu, select ‘Grab a Grand’ (or, the title you chose earlier!)

14. Click ‘Update’ in the top right of the screen to save your changes
