Instant Win competitions are a great way to inspire a sense of urgency. Urgency encourages people to buy tickets, there and then, before they log off and forget.  You can see why it’s helpful to include them on your competition site!  But what are Instant Wins?

⚡️Types of Instant Win Games

All Instant Wins are the same in terms of how they work, but they’ll show up differently in terms of user experience. There are a few different types:

Default Instant Wins 

When a player checks out during an Instant Win competition, their order confirmation page has a button that says ‘Reveal Results’. They click on that, and it gives them a list of all the tickets they’ve bought and if any of them are wins.  But we’ve brought in some more exciting interactions. 

Scratch, Flip, and Match

These just change the way in which the winnings are revealed (not the way in which customers win)

• Scratch - reveals the winnings like a scratch card

• Flip - reveals the winnings like a flip of the coin

• Match - Like 'Snap' with a deck of cards

Progressive Jackpots

Progressive Jackpots are a specific game type in the Zap Competitions suite. They function as a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or continuous jackpot prize pot. The idea is that the amount available to win builds with each order, and can be won at any point by a customer.
