Where to Find and Edit Competition Rules and FAQs?

⚡Where Can I Find the Zap Competition Rules?

On the left-hand side of your dashboard (on the back-end), navigate: ‘Zap’ → ‘Rules.’

Here, you’ll find all the information, including the competition rules, in text form. You can also find postal rules and FAQs in this section.

⚡How to Edit the Default Rules / FAQs

As this article covered, you can't just copy-paste your new rules into your 'Competition Rules' section. The process is a tad more complicated than that, but don't worry. We'll guide you through! So, to begin, head to 'Zap' --> 'Rules.'

  1. Scroll down to ‘Tab: Competition Rules’ 

  2. Switch from ‘Visual’ to ‘Text’ in the right corner of the tab

  3. Select the entire text, and copy it

Coolio! Once that’s done, head back to the competition you were editing. If you’ve lost your way, here’s your map:

  1. ‘Products’ (on the left-hand side)

  2. Click on your competition

  3. Go back to the ‘Overrides’ section

Got it? Lovely!

  1. Paste your text. 

It’s the same rules as before, but there’s a small difference to it: 

  1. You can add text to it now. 

So, if we go back to our previous example, you can now type into your competition rules:

<p>All entrants must have a valid passport with at least 6 months remaining</p>

To edit your FAQs and postal rules, follow the same steps.

⚡Where Can I Find the FAQs for My Customers?

To find the FAQs, simply head to ‘Zap’ → ‘Rules’ again. Scroll down. You’ll find them beneath the Competition Rules tab.
