How To Check On Your Customers’ Behaviours and Habits

How To Check On Your Customers’ Behaviours and Habits

Customers are strange creatures. We need to understand what they’re up to in order to make content that engages them.

That’s why you need to make like David Attenborough in a nature documentary, and watch their movements, make note of their behaviours, and grow to understand them.

But how do you do that? Where do you go to spy on their behaviours? How can you get an insight into their habits?

All right, Mr Attenborough, chill out! We’ll help you, yeah?

⚡️”And Here We See A Competition Player In Their Natural Habitat”

To see your customers’ habits first-hand, go to WooCommerce.

From there, navigate to the heading entitled ‘Customers’.

Here, you’ll be offered a breakdown of:

  1. Your customers

  2. The number of orders each customer has placed

  3. When those customers were last active

  4. How much they spent, over all.

  5. Their Average Order Value (AOV).

⚡️Where Does WooCommerce Get That Information From?

Your site uses a Pixel to communicate with WooCommerce (and with your social media).

This bit of software acts as a bridge between all these different places your customers go, catching their footprints so that you can come along later and be like 🔎”ah ha! They’ve been here!”

Whichever sort of pixel you use, if you need to make adjustments to it, you should be able to do so through your site settings. If you need help with this, we’re always on hand.

⚡️”Magnificent Creatures, Customers. Magnificent”

Checking in on what your customers are up to is such a good thing to do, so well done you for being here in the first place!

But, if you don’t know what to look for, or if you get confused at any point of the process, that’s what we’re here for.

If you’re David Attenborough, we can be your cameraman, helping you view your customers in the wild, where they’re at their most honest and unfiltered.

So, what do you say?
