Zap's New Theme: How To Edit the Stats Bar On Your Homepage
A New Zap Competitions theme is coming your way — very exciting! This means we’ve made a few small changes and we’re keeping you in the loop.
Before you begin reading this article, familiarise yourself with the Hero Image Editor. It’s where we’ll be starting off.
⚡️What’s a Stats Bar?
A Stats Bar is that little display on your site which shows off some stats about your competition.
For example: £1mil winners, 10mil prizes, or 10k social media followers.
⚡️How to Find the Stats Bar
Go to the back-end of your website
Click on ‘Pages’ in the left sidebar
Scroll down until you locate the Homepage. That is, ‘Home - Front Page’. Click on this
Click on the Homepage (‘Home - Front Page’)
Navigate to the ‘Carousel Block,’ and click on this, too
Scroll down, and find the Stats Bar Block (or add it by clicking the ‘Add Block’ button if it’s not displayed there). It might also be down as Icon Block
⚡️How To Edit The Stats Bar
To edit the Stats Bar, click on the wee pencil sign. This is what you’ll see:
Here, you can add an icon, choose the number of columns, the icon position, the text, and more. You can play around with it and see what works for you!
At the very end, click close and hit ‘Update’ to save any changes.
